The
Lodge features teak and cane furniture, while the bathrooms are in
limestone. For warmth in
winter, there is central heating throughout.
The rooms are decorated with Turkish rugs and antique New Zealand paintings,
maps and prints.
For
stylish outdoor living, there’s a 3-metre deep verandah around three
sides of the Lodge. Here you
can choose between the hammocks and the teak loungers.
If it’s chilly, there’s a powerful outdoor heater to warm the
evening air.
Guests are
offered their choice of three double bedrooms. All
three have stunning views of the sea, two have ensuite bathrooms
while the other room (which has extra long twin beds) has its own bathroom
across the corridor.
The
double beds are all emperor size (7’ x 7’), and have hand-made pocket sprung mattresses and goose down pillows and duvets.
The rooms with ensuite bathrooms each have two covered balconies
designed to catch the rising sun, perfect for breakfast in total privacy.
